I fell in love with the So Many Shells stamp set primarily for the sentiments. I am a word girl and these fonts are beautiful and made this set a must have for me.

Stampin'Up! So Many Shells stamp set, DIY, papercrafting, handstamped, greeting cards, techniques, tutorials, #lisapretto #inkbigacademystamps

  • Measurements: Thick Whisper White Cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″, Flirty Flamingo 5 1/4 x 4″, Crumb Cake 5 x 3 3/4″, Whisper White 4 3/4 x 3 1/2″
  • The greeting is stamped in Flirty Flamingo on Whisper White and is cropped out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The Big Shot and Magnetic Platform make certain the image stays centered where I want it. #besttools
  • The shell images are 2 step stamps. This means there is a base stamp and a detail stamp. The large shell is stamped with Peekaboo Peach for the base and Crumb Cake for the details. The smaller shell is stamped with Peekaboo Peach and then Flirty Flamingo.
  • A wrap of the Crumb Cake 3/8″ Classic Weave Ribbon finishes the card

  • The Card base is Lemon Lime Twist 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″ and the top layer is our Watcolor Paper 5 1/4 x 4″
  • The watercolor background was created using the Old Olive, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point Watercolor Pencils. I colored on the paper with each of the pencils and then used my Aquapainter to blend the colors.
  • The Silver Embossing Powder doesn’t show very well in this photo, but is spectacular in person.
  • The sparkles come from both the Metallic and Iridescent Sequins. The Fine Tipped Glue Pen makes adhering them a snap.
  • 1/8″ Old Olive Sheer Ribbon and Silver 3/8″ Metallic Edge Ribbon are attached with a stapler

Watch it Wednesday: Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper

I could not wait to get my hands on the Foil Frenzy Paper and am so excited to share it with you. Stampin’Up! has a great vdieo highlighting this paper and the other Specialty Designer Series Paper in the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

Give it a watch and then read on for my super pretty take on this paper

The Foil Fenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper has a Kraft background and is much more substantial than our normal Designer Series Paper. Although it is awesome on cards, I really was excited for how awesome it would work for little boxes. Now, don’t get all excited that I am going to show you some fancy box template. I am a girl who likes easy 😉

I will have a video on my Facebook Page here of how to make these. They are so simple you will love them for everything from candies to gift cards to little trinkets!

Stampin'Up! Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper, gift box, handmade, DIY, wedding, bridal shower,, gift cards, packaging, pink, blue, #lisapretto #inkbigacademystamps

Details:

  • The boxes are all made from a piece of Foil Frenzy Desigenr series Paper that measures 8 1/2 x 8″
  • The 8 1/2″ side is scored at every 2″. So at 2, 4, 6, 8″
  • It is also scored once at 2″ from the bottom on the 8″ side
  • I used my paper snips to create flaps and adhered the bottom closed
  • The top is pinched close. A small gold metallic doily and gold binder clip easily close the box.
  • Sparkly, simple and bound to make you smile!
