Let the Good Times Roll, Inking Royalty Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop!

This year’s hops are themed around some of our favorite songs. Today’s hop is pulls inspiration from B.B. King’s song “Let the Good Times Roll.” How fun is that?! We’ve created projects that either feature images with wheels (cards, wagons, bikes) or celebrate good times. We are excited to share our projects with you.

After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I decided to focus on “celebrating” and few things are as much fun to celebrate as a NEW STAMPIN’UP! CATALOG!! #amiright

So I wanted to share a few sneak peeks, available to you in May, AND a really fun gift card holder perfect to celebrate upcoming seasonal events: Mother’s Day, Baby Showers, Graduations and Bridal Showers.

Stampin'Up! Share What You Love bundle, may special, sneak peek, gift card holder, technique, tutorial, blog hop

Details:

  • The silver mini gable box is currently in the Occasions Catalog and is the perfect size to hold a gift card, a little chocolate, and heck I bet you could even fit some jewelry 😉
  • The front panel is one of the beautiful papers found in the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. The paper has a shimmer to it that makes it just stunning! (Available May 1 for customers)
  • The tag is Stampin’Up! Whisper White cut to 2″ wide and cropped with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. It is stamped in Grapefruit Grove (NEW IN COLOR) with a stamp from the Share What You Love stamp set (available May 1st)
  • The sentiment is embossed in silver and is also from the Share What You Love stamp set.
  • A row of rhinestones and a little Grapefruit Grove baker’s twine complete the project

take a peek below at this new bundle in action

Inking Royalty February Blog Hop: They Say It’s Your Birthday!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s February Blog Hop!

Today’s Blog Hop today is filled to the brim with projects that celebrate birthdays. The opening line from The Beatles’ “Birthday” song ran through our heads as we joyfully created the birthday-themed creations we share with you today. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

As my friends and I have gotten (a little) older we have realized how critical it is to show up for each other. One of the things I am committed to doing is sending more birthday cards and goodies. Not every one has a significant other and when you have college age kiddos you are happy for a random text. Girlfriends become more importnat each year!

I thought this card would certainly make anyone feel special and cared for on their birthday

Stampin'Up! Beautiful Peacock stamp set, SaleABration, happy birthday card, free with $50 order, template, technique, tutorials

Details:

The card base is Stampin’Up! Thick Whisper White cardstock. I love how fancy and impressive it feels. I added a layer of our regular Whisper White cut to 4 x 5 1/4″.

I stamped the sweet little flowers from the Beautiful Peacock stamp set diagonally across the Whisper White in Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay and Tempting Turquoise. The Beautiful Peacock stamp set is one of our SaleABration sets and is free to you with a minimum $50 purchase.

I added some of our Glimmer Dots for a festive sparkle. I love that they have adhesive on the back for a clean and simple placement.

the main image is stamped in a combination of those same 3 colors again: Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay and Tempting Turquoise.

I added lots of colorful layers and dimensionals under the layers for an extra wow factor.

The sentiment is also from the Beautiful Peacock stamp set and is stamped in Tempting Turquoise and cropped out with one of the small scallop circle punches. I layered it onto a Lemon Lime Twist Circle.

I love that this card looks special, but actually came together rather quickly with the emphasis on the artwork and layers of cardstock.

I had all of the supplies out and on my stamping table so it was really easy to create the card below, #bonus

The only additional product I used was the Petal Pair Embossing folder. I love how it elevates this clean and simple card to a WOW

Merry Cafe Christmas Gift Tag

Well, this post is going up MUCH later than anticipated! I hope you took advantage of Stampin’Up!’s free shipping for Cyber Monday! It was one of the places I spend some money today….and I got awesome deals everywhere!

If you haven’t taken advantage of the free shipping from SU! it isn’t too late (well, as long as you are still reading this on Monday!)

I have a sweet and simple gift tag for you today that goes together super quick!

Stampin'Up! Merry Cafe stamp set, coffee cups framelits dies, christmas gift tag, diy, papercrafts, holiday

Details:

  • The tag base is a 2 x 4 1/4″ piece of Stampin’Up! thick whisper White Cardstock. I really like the weight of the Thick Whisper White for tags, they have a nice sturdy feel to them.
  • I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to create the curves and hole at the top of the tag. I reach for this punch quite a bit, it has really become a workhorse in my studio.
  • I stamped the base of the cup in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of the Quilted Christmas Paper Stack and cropped it out using the Coffee Cafe Framelits.
  • Both the top of the coffee cup and the band were also stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, this time on Whisper White and then cropped out using the Coffee Cafe Framelits
  • The sentiment is from Merry Cafe and is stamped in Emerald Envy
  • I added a little panel also from the Quilted Christmas Paper Stack, a wrap of Real Red 1/8″ Solid Ribbon, and topped it off with a loop of Burlap Ribbon

With the launch of this tool, we’re trying something different: testing a new reservation system. It acts like a true preorder: you reserve your spot and we guarantee shipment as soon as the product arrives in our warehouse. Demonstrators and customers will place reservations and receive their product at the same time. This system will allow us to get the product to market as soon as possible while avoiding backorders and efficiently managing inventory.

The global launch will feature three reservation windows. For each window, please note the following:

  • Reservation quantities are while supplies last.
  • Limit is 3 tools per demonstrator and 1 tool per customer per reservation window. (Note: The Stamparatus is not a Cash-and-Carry item.)
  • You and your customers may participate in multiple reservation windows.
  • In order to reserve your Stamparatus, you are required to provide your credit card information.
