Beautiful Bouquets Bundle

I fell in love with this bundle as soon as I saw it! The InkBig Design Team put together the cutest little tag project that would be a great host gift, or RAOK for friends and neighbors!

Have you seen this bundle in the Stampin’Up! Annual Catalog?

#145297, Beautiful Bouquet Bundle $51.25

Here is the adorable project my Design Team shared

Stampin'Up! Beautiful Bouquet Bundle, stamp set, beautiful bunch framelits, thank you card, gift tag, hostess gift, DIY, papercrafts

I  love these litte tags in one of our cellophane bags! The topper is made with the Whole lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper and our Circle Framelits. How clever to use the Gold Library Clips to hold it all together!

The Scallop Tag Topper Punch makes such quick work of this paper and creates the perfect place totie on that yummy bakers twine!

The bottom left flower on each of the tags has great texture thanks to the flowers being stamped on coordinating cardstock and popped out using the Framelits.

Wouldn’t this be such a great gift for a co-worker, teacher, or hostess? I am adding it to my list to make by the dozen and have on hand to give away for a little RAOK!

Stampin’Up! Mini Treat Bag Trio

Welcome to my never ending task of creating ways to make the gift of cash a little less tacky. And maybe it is just tacky to me, or do you struggle with the same thing? I mean I know I love to get cash as a gift but as the giver I always want it to feel a little more special.

Back to my trusty Mini Treat Bag Thinlit and this time in a trio of traditional Christmas colors.

Fun Hostess Gift and Tutorial

This past Saturday I hosted some of my local team for a fun afternoon of stamping, chatting and gift giving. My team is very large and spread out all over the country so most of our sharing and getting to know one another is done online. But a couple times a year I like to gather my local peeps for a couple hours just to spoil them and spend time together.

I got several sweet gifts on Saturday and I immediately knew you would want to see this one 🙂

The first part is an adorable way to wrap the world’s most perfect hostess gift: wine!!

Stampin'Up! Christmas Pines bundle, gift packaging, wine, hostess gift

Here is the quick skinny on making this:

  • The bag is our 6 x 17″ Gusseted Cellophane Bags from the Stampin’Up! Holiday Catalog. You get 25 of them for $9 #stealofthecentury  They are also the perfect size for a full size loaf of home baked bread, or homemade granola, toffee and more! #142001
  • The paper along the bottom measures 6 x 12″ and is scored at 4 and 8″. This one features the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper that is SOLD OUT. I highly recommend either the Presents and Pinecones Designer series Paper from the holiday caalog that is currently on sale for 7.70 #141986 or the This Christmas from the Stampin’Up! Annual Catalog #141628
  • The amazing top of the pack is created with my fav item of the holiday catalog, the Christmas Pines bundle. The greeting, the pinecones and the pine boughs are all created with the bundle. It is a must have in my book. You will need a Big Shot to use the thinlits, but don’t forget that when you order a Big Shot thru me you receive the Magnetic Plate for FREE ($40 value!)
  • The addition of our Red Stitched Edge Ribbon, Gold Metallic Thread, and Rope Trim really make this so festive and swoon-worthy!

Stampin'Up! Christmas Pines bundle, gift packaging, wine, hostess gift

Along with the amazing package above I also received this box below. I was so excited to get this! Sue Becker, the creator of this little fella also brought one for our White Elephant game and I had it in my hands only briefly 🙁

So I was delighted when I saw I got my very own!

Sue has a fabulous tutorial on her blog, along with a video…..trust me, drop everything you are doing right now and watch it. This is Super Fab! CLICK HERE

The Cutest Way to Package Hot Cocoa

For those of you who follow my Facebook page (you can find it here) you know how smitten I was with the hot cocoa packaging featured on the Stampin’Up! blog HERE

I still had not purchased the Cable Knit Embossing folder and IMMEDIATELY purchased it along with a few other items to make my own version of this hot cocoa gift.

Stampin'Up! Gift packaging, hot cocoa neighbor gift, DIY, papercrafts, pink

The project was beyond simple and is so stinkin’ cute I can hardly stand it!

  • The cups, that I ordered from here, are covered with Blushing Bride cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Cable Knit Embossing folder. Be sure to read and follow the directions for this embossing folder. You only need ONE PLATE when you run it thru because it is thicker than our normal embossing folders.
  • To make a pattern I just cut one cup apart and traced it onto the Blushing Bride cardstock.
  • The sentiments are from a handful of stamp sets: Christmas Pines, Yummy Little Christmas, and Wonderful Year. All 3 are in Stampin’Up! Holiday Catalog
  • I stamped the sentiments with Versamark on Basic Black Cardstock and then heat embossed them using White Embossing Powder. I love the retro chalkboard look!
  • A quick run thru the Big Shot with the Stitched Shapes Framelits made this so quick and easy. Make sure to use your Embossing Buddy to take as much static off the paper as possible. Seriously that little fella is so awesome and a must have in your heat embossing kit.
  • Blushing Bride Baker’s Twine is all the added embellishment needed to complete this cute set……well maybe a couple little bottle of Kahlua wouldn’t hurt 🙂

did you know that if you purchase a Big Shot thru me I will gift you the Magnetic Platform for FREE

Pretty in Blue Gift Card Holders

I am in deep crafting mode these days. I love making tags and packages way more than I like making cards so this is a super fun time of year for me. As I have told you maybe a million times my grown kiddos like cash, checks, gift cards…..really money is almost any form.

But I want it to be special and festive. Its a mom thing, right? No matter how old your family gets we still want to make things special and memorable for them.

I love working with the Stampin’Up! Gift Card Thinlit. So easy and fast!

Stampin'Up! Gift Card Holder thinlit, christmas card, DIY, papercrafts, blue, copper, gold

Details:

  • Soft Sky is the base for the gift card.
  • A 2″ circle from the Vanilla and Copper dotted paper from the Petals and Paisleys Designer Series Paper is the base for the sentiment
  • A Night of Navy Best Badge Punch, a swirl of copper Metallic Thread, Very Vanilla Stitched Satin Ribbon, and Silver Metallic Sequin makes it fun, festive and sparkly
  • The sentiment, from the Christmas Pines stamp set, is embossed in Copper to pull it all together

Stampin'Up! Gift Card Holder thinlit, christmas card, DIY, papercrafts, blue, copper, gold

Details:

  • Night of Navy is the go to blue for this gift card holder.
  • A wrap of Silver Glimmer Paper holds the gift card holder together. And makes great use of the small scrap that I could not bear to get rid of
  • The greeting, also from Christmas Pines stamp set, is embossed in Silver on Soft Sky paper and punch out with the 2″ circle punch
  • A flag of Silver Foil Paper, swirl of Silver Metallic Thread and row of Rhinestones up the fun factor

Stampin’Up! Mini Treat Bags, the perfect gift card holders

Last night Tom and I went to a great event in Madison called Brew Lights. It was held at the Henry Vilas Zoo, which has special meaning for me.

15317961_10207042054801210_3666328987162594503_n

and btw, it was 34 degrees…..every cold weather piece was need!

Lots and lots of years ago my mom and dad were poor married college students with an ADORABLE baby girl 😉 and no money. We spent a lot of time at the zoo….. a lot of time.

As I raised my kiddos we spent our fair share of time at the zoo as well. In fact I remember when Elizabeth, probably around 8 years old, took an animal drawing class at the zoo. Cutest. Thing. Ever.

It was a fun night enjoying the lights, some yummy food and drink, and giving back to something that is important to our family. I sure hope you have time to spend time this holiday season on things that matter to you 🙂

Stampin'Up! Mini Treat Bag Thinlit, Christmas gift card holder, DIY, papercrafts

Our go to gifts for a lot of the folks on our list is gift cards. I am always looking for a fun and easy way to make them pretty and the Mini Treat Bag Holder Thinlit is the ticket!

Stampin'Up! Mini Treat Bag thinlit, big shot, Christmas Gift Card holder, papercrafts, DIY

Details:

  • All of these samples are made using the Mini Treat Bag thinlit from the Stampin’Up! Catalog. I love using the Magnetic Platform to make sure my patterns are straight and I don’t waste any paper
  • Did you know that when you buy a Big Shot from me you get a Magnetic Platform for free? Yep, that is a $40 value.
  • All of these bags use the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper. They have so much fabulous holiday personality that they really don’t need a lot of embellishment to be festive.
  • A little bit of ribbon and a sweet sentiment are all they need. #perfection
