The Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop : Halloween

The Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop

Welcome to the Blog Hop for September 2017. This month our theme is Halloween!  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Lisa Pretto or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Lisa Pretto.

Stampin'Up! Spooky Cat stamp set, treat container, DIY, papercrafts, treats, lisapretto, inkbigacademystamps

I have a confession: I LOVE PEEPS!! I know this is highly controversial, but I stand proudly on the side of Yes to All the Peeps! And here is another little confession…..if you leave them out and they get a little stale they are even better. I know you are either disgusted or over-joyed, but we all have a food quirk or two, don’t we?!

DETAILS:

  • I always have a stash of our Stampin’Up! cellophane bags. I love how easily they can dress up almost everything!
  • The topper for this bag was made with a 4 x 4″ square of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, folded in the middle. I stapled it to the bag before decorating it.
  • A small rectangle from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper creates a great landing spot for all the other embellishments.
  • I layered 2 tags starting with a Basic Black Everyday Label Punch and then topping that with the Pretty Label Punch. The greeting from the Stampin’Up! Spooky Cat stamp set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then the “Happy Halloween” was added in Pumpkin Pie.
  • Black Rhinestones add a little sparkle to the sentiment.
  • It is finished off with a wrap and bow of our Basic Black Baker’s Twine and a couple lengths of Mini Black Sequins.
  • Fun, Festive, and in my opinion oh so yummy!!

Stampin’Up! Smitten Mitten Mini Pizza Box

Yesterday I shared some super cute 3×3″ cards and today I want to share with you some great packaging for those cards!

Who doesn’t love the Stampin’Up! Mini Pizza Boxes?!

Stampin'Up! Mini Pizza boxes, Smitten Mitten stamp set, hostess gift, christmas, DIY, papercrafts, lisa pretto, inkbigacademy stamps

Details:

  • The Stampin’Up! Mini Pizza Boxes can hold all sorts of goodies, but were specifically designed to hold our 3×3″ notecards and matching envelopes.
  • Because I wanted the box to coordinate with my little cards I went with the same color theme and bundle.
  • The black and white buffalo plaid paper is from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. It measures 3 1/4 x 3 1/4″.
  • I topped it with one of our Silver Foil Snowflakes. The snowflakes come in a package of 24, 12 silver and 12 gold. And I love that they are white on the back side and can be colored quickly with a marker or sponge.
  • How sweet is that mitten?! The image is from the Smitten Mittens stamp set, is stamped in Real Red and cropped out using the Many Mittens Framelits. Remember that when you purchase the stamp set and Framelits as a bundle you save 10%
  • The Silver and Red Tinsel Trim adds just the right amount of sparkle and I cannot get enough of our Green Springs found in the Stampin’Up! Holiday Catalog

Inking Royalty Tricked Out Treats Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s September Blog Hop! Today’s Tricked Out Treats Blog Hop is filled with spooky, fun projects for Halloween. We are excited to share our creations with you today and hope these projects inspire you. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Stampin'Up! mini pizza boxes, spooky cat punch, spooky night designer series paper, gift, 3d, DIY, papercrafting, lisapretto, inkbigacademystamps

  • For this project I combined 2 of the most popular items in the Stampin’Up! Holiday Catalog; mini pizza boxes and the Spooky Cat punch.
  • The great black and white buffalo plaid patterned paper is from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. I love what a great year round all occasion pattern this is!
  • I doubled up on the doilies, laying a White Lace one down and then topping it with a Silver Metallic Doily.
  • The cat was made using the Spooky Cata Punch and the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. You get 2 sheets of black and orange cats that you can crop out in a jiffy using the coordinating punch.
  • I added the Black Shimmer Ribbon under that cat and used it to tie the box shut. This way you can open it and still keep all the pretty embellishemnts in tact.
  • The sentiment, from the Spooky Cat stamp set was stamped in Pumpkin Pie.
  • I love these little 3×3″ boxes! They are perfect for treats, gift cards, and cash!

Lots of Samples!

It was a full weekend for me, thankfully full of stuff I love!

We had a family wedding on Saturday that was amazing! We got ALMOST everyone together

and then it was a very early morning as I headed to Minnesota to hang out with 270 of my stamping friends!

I came home with tons of creative inspiration, and I want to share some of the quick pics I snapped of the displays

The Painted Harvest bundle has been hugely popular, and no wonder!! It is so versatile!

I love all these color combos!

The scrapbook page above uses the Eclipse Technique….can’t wait to share how it is done!

This reindeer is adorable! And check out the inside of the card below

A window was created in one of the mini pizza boxes using the Layering Circle Framelits, brilliant!

How cute is this hot cocoa gift using our test tubes?!

Painted Harvest makes a fab little wreath on 3×3″ cards

Just WOW!!

More beautiful backgrounds with the Glossy Cardstock
