Stampin'Up! Season to Sparkle stamp set, Holiday Catalog, tips, techniques, tutorials, christmas, DIY, papercrafts

White embossing, a little watercolor and the Baby Wipe Technique make this a fun and special birthday cardWho knew that chandelier would also make the most perfect vase? Perfect to hold a trio of flowers made with the Stampin’Up! Daisy Punch, and those sparkly middles are courtesy of the Clear Faceted Gems

I love the colored rhinestones that make the perfect bling courtesy of a Bermuda Bay Blends

This is a WOW thanks to some great heat embossing on the background. Clear Embossing on Black always impresses. The Chandelier was cropped from our Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and ofers up an impressive sparkle. A show stopper for sure!

A shabby chic take on Christmas with the perfect pop of red on this final sample!

What I have been stamping…..

come see what I have been creating in my stamp studio this week! stampinup, holiday cards, gift tags, papercrafts

Most people wait until January 1 to make a fresh start….obviously I don’t have the patience for that 😉

Typically I create projects specifically to share with you. I have decided to change things up and simple share the things I am creating in my studio each week. I sent lots of notes in the mail, along with goodies decorated with a little tag….so from here forward you will see the things I am actually creating to send and use.

I will be posting once a week in a “What I Have Been Stamping” share. I will also share my happy mail once a week and my InkBig Design Team has some amazing projects for you as well!

So here is what I have been stamping:

Stampin'Up! Petal Palette stamp set, sneak peek, occasions catalog, Petals and More thinlits dies, bundle

I wanted to make a special card for one of my high achieving team members and I am thrilled with how this turned out.

Both those lovely dots and the greeting are from the Petal Palette stamp set, which makes it a fun sneak peek from the Occasions Catalog. Those perfect Old Olive branches are from the Petals and More Thinlits. The stamp set and thinlit are part of a bundle so when purchased together you can say 10%

Isn’t the Berry Burst Wrinkle Seam Ribbon divine?!

Stampin'Up! Merry Cafe, Coffee cup thinlits, gift card holder, papercrafts, diy, holiday, christmas

I shared the directions for this gift card holder here. I had a several Starbuck’s cards to send out this week and wanted to really make them a WOW!

The Merry Cafe stamp set and the Coffee Cup thinlits are a match made in heaven. I went with the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Paper, it is so glam! The cups are from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. The rustic buffalo plaid is a fun play next to the sophisticated Year of Cheer Paper.

and I always think of the holidays as the perfect time for heat embossing, always a WOW!

Stampin'Up! Cheers to the Years stamp set, 3x3 card, gift card, heat embossing, snowflake, christmas, holiday

3×3 cards are so fun to make. A little effort for a great return!

I love to include these cards with little goodies I pop in the mail. This one uses the Year of Cheer stamp set for both the Real Red snowflakes and the Silver Heat Embossed sentiment.

And do you see those snowflakes on the flap? #festive

Stampin'Up! Snowflake Embossing Folder, Cheers to the YEars stamp set, red, silver, sparkle, snowflakes, gift tag, christmas, holiday, DIY

I am a big fan of silver and red for the holidays. These little gift tags are a 2 x 4 1/4″ piece of our Thick Whisper White Cardstock. The Scalloped Edge Tag Topper punch always makes for a beautiful finish. The Snowflake Embossing Folder adds great dimension, the Foil Snowflakes, Tinsel and Mini Sequins adds sparkle and that sentiment from Year of Cheer keeps the theme going strong.

Stampin'Up! Hug in a Mug stamp set, stampin' blends

I have been practicing my Stampin’ Blends like crazy. I did A LOT of these cards just to get the feel of using these new alcohol markers. Not one looks the same, but I’m okay with that. they are so fun to play with and who doesn’t love coloring?! The Hug in a Mug stamp set gave me just enough coloring option with out being intimidating.

Stampin'Up! Petal Palette stamp set, sneak peek, occasions catalog, Cake soiree stamp set, diy, papercrafts,

This Petal Palette bundle is showing to be one of my favorites to work with with from the NEW Occasions Catalog.

The flowers are stamped in Berry Burst and that sweet bird is heat embossed in silver and cropped out using the Petals and More Thinlits. The sentiment is from the Cake Soiree stamp set, also a sneak peek of the Stampin’Up! Occasions Catalog. And both ribbons are sneak peeks: a lovely silver and white baker’s twine and the most decadent Berry Burst Silver Trimmed Ribbon.

I will be giving away a super fun Stampin’Up! goodie with each “What I Have Been Stamping” post so be sure to comment! I would love to know what YOU think of these new posts <3

Quilted Christmas Gift Card Holder

It is the last day of November! Tomorrow kicks off December and time to get SERIOUS about our holiday crafting! On my to do list are lots of gift card holders and I am just in love with how perfect the Stampin’Up! Pizza boxes are for gift cards.

This one is pretty simple, but I just love that design from Stampin’Up! Quilted Christmas Paper Stack so much that I really didn’t want to cover it up!

Stampin'Up! Quilted Christmas, pizza box, gift card holder, holiday, DIY, Papercrafting

  • This design sheet from the Quilted Christmas Paper Stack cuts perfectly into 3 x 3 squares to create this design. That means you get 4 perfect stars from one sheet for easy and quick projects!
  • I backed the 3×3 square with the Stampin’Up! Gold Foil Paper cut to 3 1/4 x 3 1/4″. Because lets be honest….is it even Christmas without a little sparkle?!
  • I love this little Quilted Christmas Ribbon. It is so sweet and holds my Mini Pizza Box closed perfectly!
  • The little tag is stamped with “merry” from the Merry Cafe stamp set in Real Red and cropped out with the 1″ circle punch. I layered it on to a little oval from the Corrugated Elements from the Annual Catalog

Tomorrow is the last day of my Holiday Giveaway, so be sure to leave a comment to be entered!
